Refunds & rescheduling

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how far work has progressed, whether a deposit secured calendar time, and whether deliverables have already been prepared. Consumer rights under Hong Kong law that cannot be excluded continue to apply.

Deposits

Most engagements require a deposit (typically 30–50% of the quoted fee) to reserve start dates. Deposits are credited toward the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable once discovery interviews or data access work has begun, except where we cancel the engagement.

Cancellation by you

• More than 10 business days before the agreed start: full refund of amounts paid, minus any non-recoverable third-party costs we have already incurred with your written approval.
• 10 business days or fewer before start: deposit retained; remaining prepaid fees refunded if no work has started.
• After work has started: fees for completed phases are due; unused prepaid amounts for unstarted phases may be partially refunded at our discretion after deducting work performed and committed analyst time.

Cancellation by Workspacebloom

If we must cancel for reasons within our control, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work or a rescheduled start at no extra fee.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 5 business days’ notice is usually accommodated without charge. Shorter notice or repeated changes may incur a rescheduling fee reflecting lost analyst capacity. Workshop dates follow the same notice rules; participant substitutions are allowed if you notify us in writing.

No-shows

Missed workshop or readout sessions without 24 hours’ notice are treated as delivered for that session. We will offer one courtesy rebooking within 30 days subject to availability.

Work already started & materials

Time spent on interviews, tracking inventories, model design, and dashboard builds is billable. Purchased or commissioned third-party data extracts approved by you are non-refundable once ordered. Draft dashboards and documents already shared remain usable by you under the engagement licence even if later phases are cancelled.

Weekly Attribution Desk retainers

Retainers bill monthly in advance. You may cancel with 30 days’ written notice. Unused days in the final month after the notice period are not prorated unless required by law. No refund applies to months already fully delivered.

Refund method & timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval. Bank transfer fees charged by your institution are outside our control.

How to request a refund

Email info@workspacebloom.click with your invoice number, engagement name, and reason. We confirm receipt within two business days and outline next steps.
